Campsite · Illawarra/Shoalhaven fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Campfires are permitted provided they are in a fire pit / bin or brazier that is contained and off the ground so as not to burn the grass . You can bring your own pit or we have a limited amount of fire bins are available for hire from Reception. Rental fee of $10 and a $50 refundable cash deposit is required. Fire pits can not be pre booked.”
