Live Bushfire Incidents on Map

Active bushfire incidents from all Australian fire services now appear as real-time markers on the map.

Live incident data from ESRI ArcGIS — updated every 5 minutes
Colour-coded by severity: Emergency Warning, Watch and Act, Advice, and Community Info
Click any incident to see full details — type, status, location, and size
Incidents listed inside District Modal with fly-to-map support

Fire Icon Markers

Incident markers are now distinctive flame-shaped icons instead of plain dots.

Canvas-drawn fire icons for each severity with white outline for contrast
Emergency Warning incidents have a pulsing glow ring behind the icon
Icons scale smoothly with zoom level
Always render on top of map layers at every zoom level

Premium Animations & Hover Effects

The dashboard now feels more alive with scroll entrance animations and interactive hover effects.

State cards lift and glow on hover with staggered inner row reveals

WA Shire-Specific Fire Rules

Fire rules in Western Australia now vary by local government area. Select your shire to see if solid fuel fires are allowed on HIGH rating days in your area.

QLD Council-Level Ban Accuracy

Queensland fire bans are now tracked at the council level. When some councils in a district have bans while others don't, you'll be prompted to select yours.

TOBAN badge accurately reflects your selected council
Desktop and mobile apps both support council selection

Improved Shire Picker UX

The mobile shire selection experience has been completely redesigned.

BAN badges next to shires with active Total Fire Bans
"Show My Rules" button — tap to close modal and see rules instantly
Selected shire name visible in the bottom sheet header

Desktop Rules Always Visible

Detailed fire rules (Fire Pit, BBQ, Gas BBQ, etc.) now show on desktop for all rating levels — matching the mobile app experience.

•Fixed iOS Strong Password overlay persistence on registration form
