Go to Contact FormFireban is an Australian fire danger rating and Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) information service. We aggregate data from official government sources across all 8 states and territories to provide a single, consistent view of fire bans and danger ratings nationwide.
All fire danger ratings and fire ban data comes directly from official government sources including state fire services (RFS, CFA, DFES, etc.) and the Bureau of Meteorology. We do not generate or modify ratings — we display official data.
Fire danger ratings and ban data are synced from official sources every few minutes. When new data is available, it is pushed to the app in real time.
Ratings can change throughout the day as conditions evolve. Fireban always shows the most recently published official data. If you believe there is an error, please contact us so we can investigate.
