Campsite · Far Western fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Private Campfire: If you would like a private campfire, firewood can be purchased, or BYO. We no longer allow wood to be collected on our property. In the spirit of camping, we encourage you to have a campfire. Please ensure on departure it is extinguished and no food scraps, cans, bottles or rubbish is left in it. DO NOT PUT FIRES ON THE GROUND - USE PITS PROVIDED”
