Campsite · Southern Ranges fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“What is your fire pit policy? We don't currently have any communal firepits, other than firepits only at Banyande Bay Cabins and Function centre/ Bunkrooms. Campers are welcome to bring their own fire pits or make their own fires but please bring your own firewood as we do not sell it on site. No chainsaws are permitted in the park. Total fire ban within the park during hotter months.”
