This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Contained campfires are allowed on unpowered camp sites also, perfect for those cooler nights to sit around with family and friends and relax after an adventure filled day. The following rules apply: Guests must comply with fire restrictions imposed by the Park Manager/Fire Authority, Campfires must be contained in a fire pit and always attended, By law the collection of firewood from the park is not permitted – firewood can be purchased from the kiosk or outside the park Fires must be completely extinguished after use”
