Campsite · Illawarra/Shoalhaven fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Campers may have an open fire during autumn, winter and spring provided there is no fire ban in place and only in our raised fire pits which are available for hire at $10 per night. Fire pits can be booked either after arrival or upon placing your booking. Please BYO your own firewood. Please dispose of your charcoals in the steel container near PS6 before departing and leave the campsite as you found it. No open fires are permitted during the summer season.”
