Big 4 · North Coast fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Fires: Fires are only permitted at certain Tasman Holiday Parks and during seasonal periods and weather conditions and can only be lit in braziers or fire pits. Fires must always be attended at all times when lit and extinguished appropriately when complete. Fires can only be lit in line with local fire services guidelines (i.e., not during a fire ban). See reception for more information.”
