Campsite · Greater Hunter fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Yes, campfires are permitted at our campground. To ensure safety and environmental conservation, all fires must be contained in a fire bin placed a minimum of 200mm off the ground. Please be mindful of the existing grass when positioning the fire bin. Do not dispose of any ash in the garbage bins. Fire bins can be rented for $10 per night per bin. For further details, feel free to approach Brad or any staff member. We DO NOT supply firewood for campfires, but we encourage you to bring your own.”
