Campsite · Greater Hunter fire district, NSW
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Fires are permitted in dedicated fire pits in each campsite unless the property is subject to a fire ban. Ask us in advance – we should know in advance. Fires are not permitted anywhere else on the property because of safety issues. Firewood can be purchased at reception ($15/ 25kg), and for $300 we can arrange a giant bonfire that will burn for two days if that's your thing!”
