This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“All campfires are the responsibility of the guest. • All fires must be extinguished by 10pm. • Do not leave campfires unattended. All fires must be supervised at all times by an adult. • Fire restrictions enforced by government bodies may apply. Please check with staff before lighting a fire. • Fires are not permitted on any site matting or roadway. • Fires are not permitted on the ground on powered sites or cabin locations. • Fires are not permitted on the ground on unpowered site locations. • Fires must be contained in a suitably constructed fire pit at least 300mm above the ground. • Firewood for any communal fire pits will be provided daily. Firewood for personal fireplaces can be purchased at the kiosk. • All ashes must be disposed of only in the receptacles provided.”
