This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“CAMPFIRES Require a ring of stones around the fire pit Use only seasoned dry firewood, untreated timbers or hot coals, which must fit within the fire pit The fire must be extinguished before retiring to bed, as well as prior to departing from the Bivouac Junction Holiday Park To extinguish the fire, use water. DO NOT USE SAND Things to look out for:A clear spot where there are no overhanging tree branches, and where there are minimal grass and scrub Make sure the campfire is a safe distance from tents, caravans, camping equipment and especially flammables”
