Campsite · North Tropical Coast and Tablelands fire district, QLD
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Camping just isn't complete without a campfire! Campfires are a go in designated spots with firepits. If you want to bring your own firepit, just make sure it doesn't scorch the grass. At Green Camp, we ask you to use the existing fireplaces and keep your flames small. Don't forget to put out your fire when you head off, and please don't chuck any rubbish in there. Need firewood? We've got plenty for sale at the campground!”
