Campsite · Wide Bay and Burnett fire district, QLD
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Campfires: Do not put anything in our firepits other than wood, only limited firepits are available and are not to be moved, please notify us if you require one and we will do our best to accommodate. You may bring your own fire pit, but it must not burn the grass! Please use buckets provided for disposal of ashes. All fires must be extinguished before leaving unattended, please be aware fire bans may be in place at certain times. Chainsaws are not permitted, and we do not allow fires on the ground.”
