Campsite · South East Coast fire district, QLD
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Yes. Guests staying in our unpowered campground and selected designated powered sites are welcome to use personal fire pits or braziers. To help protect our beautiful grounds, all fire pits must be raised at least 20cm off the ground with a fire blanket placed underneath. Fire-approved powered sites are limited and can only be booked by contacting our reservations team directly.”
