Campsite · Wide Bay and Burnett fire district, QLD
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“A communal campfire area has been set up for guest use beside the Club Room. Please keep the fire within the stone enclosure, supervise children and extinguish fire after use. In addition, you are welcome to bring a brazier or fire-pit to use on your own site, as long as it is raised above the ground. Bags of wood and kindling are available for purchase at the office. Please keep an eye on the blackboard outside the office for any fire ban information.”
