Campsite · Lower South East fire district, SA
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Strictly No BYO fire pits are permitted, all of our fire pits have been inspected and pre-approved by local council and a permit has been granted. Our insurance also does not allow for personal fire pits to be used. Guests can only hire fire pits during non-fire season, stipulated and regulated by council. Fire Danger Season has been declared; 1 November 2025 – 30 April 2026”
