Campsite · Western fire district, TAS
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“If permitted, campfires must be contained in the designated enclosures or approved fire pits only. Under no circumstances may fires be lit directly on the ground. Park management permission must be obtained before lighting any fires. Fires must be extinguished each evening. Firewood may be purchased from reception.”
