Campsite · West and South Gippsland fire district, VIC
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Open fires are only permitted in the fire pits provided – you may not use your own. Campfires are subject to fire restrictions and weather conditions. Campfires must never be left unattended and must be extinguished when you are not in attendance. A bucket of water needs to be within reach of your fire at all times. Cutting of firewood within the park or on the road leading to the park is not permitted. No glass or cans are to be burned in fires. There is no charge for fire pit hire for bookings of two nights or more. A $10 hire fee will be charged for bookings of a single night.”
