This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Camp fires – All fires must be contained within a fire drum – there are to be no makeshift fire pits that sit on the ground or grass. The area within 3 meters in all directions must be clear of all flammable material. A person must be in attendance at all times while the fire is alight. Fires must be properly extinguished at night. There is to be no wood left on departure. Total Fire Ban Days there is to be no fires or BBQ's. No camp fires if wind exceeds 10 km/h. Ash to be placed in provided ash drums. All fire drums must have a steel plate to place underneath them when on grass.”
