Big 4 · North East fire district, VIC
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Fires: Fires are for hire at a fee of $30.00 per drum for the duration of your stay. If you wish to bring your fire drum with a tray to protect the grass, you may do so, but please ensure it is elevated off the ground and cleaned up after use. Fires are allowed unless total fire bans are in place or at the discretion of park management. Sites must be left clean and tidy. Firewood and fire drums can be purchased from reception daily before 4 pm. Aluminum bins are provided throughout the park for the disposal of coal before departure.”
