Campsite · Capes fire district, WA
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Can I have a camp fire? Yes — campfires are permitted in line with Shire and DFES fire restrictions, which vary from season to season. Generally, campfires are allowed during the cooler months (approximately April through November). During the high fire season (typically December through April), fires are not permitted at Big Valley.”
