Campsite · Stirling Coast fire district, WA
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 11 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Campfire Ban: No fires when the Fire Danger Rating is High or above. Campers must check the Daily Fire Danger Rating daily. www.emergency.wa.gov.au Firewood is available from the Caretaker's Cottage until 5pm daily when fires are permitted. Please only use the fire pits provided. Fires may only be lit 1 May - 30 October if the Fire Danger Rating is Moderate or below and must never be left unattended. Extinguish all fires before going to bed. Individual fires are not allowed during the Restricted and Prohibited Period 1 November - 30 April. During the restricted period, a communal fire pit may be available at the caretaker's cottage.”
