Campsite · Capes fire district, WA
This is a privately operated campground — the operator sets the fire rules. Many allow campfires in fire rings outside fire ban periods. Contact them before you travel.
A declared fire ban always overrides the operator's rules.
Their website says (checked 12 July 2026, not yet operator-confirmed)
“Yes - fire pits are welcome here, but only during low and mid-season when the local shire gives the all-clear. Fires need to be contained and free-standing, so bring along your own pit. We don't hire them out, and we don't sell wood on-site - but you'll find bundles ready to go at The General Store, just a two-minute drive away.”
